Summer Lin is a makeup and hair artist based in Taipei, working with brides, private clients, and editorial teams across Taiwan and on location worldwide — from Japan and Bali to Iceland and France.

She reads each face on its own terms. Rather than apply a single signature look, she draws out what's already there — softening what you'd rather not see, lifting and brightening so you look fresher, younger, more rested. The compliment she hears most isn't "I love that style"; it's guests telling the bride how beautiful she looks, never quite able to name why.

And she begins with how you feel. Hair and makeup is the first moment of the wedding morning, when nerves run highest — and Summer has a rare gift for calming them, turning the chair into the warmest, steadiest place in the room.
